Artemis II, the lunar mission of NASA  and its astronauts  scripted history by traveling farthest with astronauts into space and broke the record of Apollo 13 astronauts in 1970. The journey began on 1st April from the Kennedy Space Centre. The astronauts are Commander Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen of the Canadian Space Agency. The Orion spacecraft reached the maximum distance from Earth which is expected to be 252756 miles as per NASA . When the spacecraft ventured behind the moon , an expected communication blackout for 40 minutes occurred. Then the communication was reestablished again with mission control. The astronauts observed Earthrise during the blackout. They also saw the mysterious lunar far side that has  never been seen before by human eyes. While in the Orion capsule the astronauts also saw a total solar eclipse. The astronauts have now begun their return journey towards home.
