Devastating flash flood – debris flows – in Nepal – in Nepal – China border – on 26th August, 2026 – in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal – in Trishuli river – due to a glacier collapse – debris travelled at a speed of 180 kms/ hour – flood impacted on Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan districts – many people displaced – death toll rises to 1344 – around 5000 people still missing – including nearly 590 foreigners – 275 Indian still missing – miraculously two survivors rescued from debris after ten days -around 8317 houses destroyed – road damaged – infrastructure damaged – damage of Rs. 387.54 billion – a large number of livestock were killed – rescue and relief started – Nepal disaster force and army deployed – international help from other countries
