ISL or Indian Super League2021-22 was the 8th season of this competition. The League was started in 2013. This time the season started in 19th November, 2021 and concluded on 20th March, 2022 with the final match played between Kerala Blasters and Hyderabad. The spectators were allowed to see the match from the gallery just in the final match and they were not allowed for the rest of the tournament . Those were organised across the three venues in Goa. Hyderabad became the Champion of the league for the first time in the history by defeating Kerala Blasters in the final . Jamshedpur won the Premiership title for the first time also by winning the League Winner’s Shield. Tournament was played among the eleven team . Greg Stewart of Jamshedpur became the Hero of the League or the player of the League. Bartholomew Ogbeche of Hyderabad won the Golden Boot award by scoring most goals (18 goals ) . Prabhsukhan Singh Gill of Kerala Blasters won the Golden Glove by becoming the best goalkeeper of the League. Naorem Roshan Singh of Bengaluru was awarded as the Emerging Player of the League.
