WPL 2025 – 3rd edition –  Women’s Premier League – Organised by BCCI – A T20 Cricket tournament for women – Mumbai Indians became the champion – defeated Delhi Capitals in the final – on 15th March – at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai – Dekhi Capital’s skipper Meg Lanning  won the toss and elected to bowl first – Mumbai Indians Women score 149/7 in 20 overs – in reply Delhi Capital Women scored 141/9 in 20 overs – MI won by 8 runs –  their captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored highest run for MI – scored 66 runs in just 44 balls – Marizanne Kapp , Jess Jonassen and Nallapureddy Charani took 2 wickets each for DC – Marizanne Kapp also batted well – scored 40 runs in 26 ball for them – Nat Sciver Brunt took 3 wickets for MI – she also scored 30 runs – Harmanpreet Kaur from MI became the Player of the Match – Nat Sciver Brunt became from MI the Player of the tournament – it is Mumbai Indians 2nd title
