Wimbledon 2023 – 136th edition – a grand slam tennis tournament – grass court – from 3rd to 16th July – at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon , London, United Kingdom – Gentlemen’s Single champion is Carlos Alvarez of Spain – he entered the tournament as no. 1 seeded player – he defeated legendary and four time defending champion Novac Djokovic of Serbia by 1-6, 7-6(8-6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in the final. In Women’s single the champion is Marketa Vondrousova of Czech Republic – she became the first ever unseeded player to win the title – she defeated Ons Jabeur of Tunisia by 6-4 , 6-4 in the final – Men’s doubles winners are Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski – they defeated Marcel Garnollers and Horacio Zeballos by 6-4 , 6-4 in the final – Women’s doubles winners are – Hsieh – Su – wei and Barbora Strycova – They defeated Storm Hunter and Elise Mertens by 7-5 , 6-4 in the final – Mixed doubles winners are – Mate Pavic and Lyudmyla Kichenok – they defeated Joran Vliegen and Xu Yifan by 6-4, 6-7 ( 9-11) , 6-3
