Wimbledon 2022 – Gentlemen’s single final – between world no. 3 and no. 1 seed Novac Djokovic from Serbia and Nick Kyrgios from Australia – Djokovic won his 7thWimbledon title – defeated Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) on 10th July, Sunday- He came to final as three-time defending champion – Djokovic has now 21 major titles – crossed Roger Federer – just one short from Rafael Nadal – It was his 32nd Grand Slam final- Women’s single – no.17 seed Elena Rybakina defeated Ons Jabeur on 9th July, Saturday – It is her first Grand Slam – became first woman representing Kazakhstan to win a Grand Slam,though she was born and live in Russia – Jabeur became the first Arab woman and African born to reach a Grand Slam final- she was no.3 seed for the Championship – Elena Rybakina defeated Ons Jabeur 3-6,6-2, 6-2
