West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is going to be held on 11th July this year and will be organized by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
Courses– Courses in which students can admit , are – Engineering, Pharmacy, Jute and Fiber Technology, Marine Engineering, Architecture.
Educational Qualification– 1.Engineering – H.S. with Physics, Mathematics and any one of chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or computer Science or Computer Application or Technical Vocational with 45 % in total in three subjects( for SC, ST, OBC and PH 40% ). 30% in English.
2.Pharmacy – H.S. with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology with 45 % total in three subjects( for SC, ST, OBC and PH 40% ) and 30 % in English.
3. Jute and Fiber Technology – H.S. with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with 60% in total in these three subjects ( for SC, ST, OBC and PH 50% ) and 30 % in English.
4. Marine Engineering – H.S. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% in total in these subjects. 50% in English in Madhyamik or H.S.
5. Architecture– H.S. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50 % in total. With this students should qualify in National Aptitude Test in Architecture organized by Council of Architecture or in Joint Entrance Examination Paper 2.
Age for Students – On 31/12/2021 minimum 17 years to 25 years.
Papers of the Exam. -There will be two paper – Paper I– 100 numbers in Mathematics. Paper II– 50 numbers in Physics and 50 in Chemistry.
Questions will be MCQ and there also will be negative marking.
Apply within 23/03/2021. Fees to apply Rs. 500/- and Rs 400/- for SC, ST and OBC.
