The Wednesday Curse – A Devastating Fire in Mangaf, Kuwait – 49 Foreign Workers Died

Wednesday curse – Devastating fire – broke out – in Mangaf, Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait – on 12th June, 2024 – Wednesday – at almost 4am in the early morning – the blaze engulfed the six storied building – very quickly – 49 inhabitants are died – mostly Indian – 45 among them are Indian – who went there as foreign workers – almost 50 people injured – as per preliminary report – fire originated on the ground floor of block 4- accident occurred due to electrical short circuit in the quarter of an Egyptian security guard – employees of NBTC company were present there – Kuwait Emir Sheikh Meshal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al – Sabah ordered authorities to probe the massive fire – to take strict action – Indian Minister for State of External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh rushed there – Indian Air Force had sent a C-130J transport aircraft to bring back mortal remains of  Indian workers who died – on Friday it landed in Kochi with  mortal remains of 45 Indian – among them 23 were from Kerala, 7 from Tamil Nadu, 3 each from Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh , 2 from Odisha, 1 each from Bihar, West Bengal, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Haryana – Central Government announced an Ex-gratia relief of Rs. 2 lakh to the families of Indian nationals who died
