The ICC under 19 Men’s Cricket World  Cup 2026  is just over . It was the 16th edition of the tournament which was held in Zimbabwe and Namibia . It was a 50 overs cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council or ICC. 16 teams participated. India became the champion by defeating England in the final by 100 runs in the final at Harare Sports Club, Harare in Zimbabwe on 6th February. India won the toss and elected to bat first. India scored 411/9 in their 50 overs . Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 175 runs in just 80 balls. James Minto took 3 wickets by conceding 63 runs for England. In reply to this England were all out for 311 runs in 40.2 overs. Caleb Falconer scored 115 runs in 67 balls for them. RS Ambrish took 3 wickets by conceding 56 runs for India. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the Player of the match. He hit  30 sixes in the tournament which is a record in the history of the Under 19 Men’s Cricket World Cup. He also made a record by hitting most sixes ( 15 ) in a Youth ODI  innings .  Ben Mayes of England scored most runs in the tournament ( 444 runs ) . Manny Lamsden of England took most wickets in the tournament ( 16 wickets ). Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of India was awarded the Player of the series award. India won the title for the 6th time and it is also more than any other nation .
