ISRO and Social Alpha joined together and signed MoU to launch SpIN or Spacetech Innovation Network . It is India’s first this type of dedicated platform for innovation and venture development in the sector of Spacetech or space entrepreneurial ecosystem . It is a public – private collaboration for startups and SMEs in the space industry to provide stimulus to India’s recent space reform policies . It will primarily focus on three distinct innovation categories – 1) Geospatial Technologies and Downstream Applications ; 2) Enabling Technologies for Space and Mobility ; 3) Aerospace Materials , Sensors and Avionics.
