2.Prof. Shobhna Kapoor (Chemistry) became the recipient of the SERB Women Excellence Award 2021 to support basic research in Science and Engineering.
3. IISC, Bengaluru twitted that study of MCB finds when TB bacteria encounter the drug rifampicin , a small proportion of cells develop a thick, armour like capsule. This restricts the entry of the drug and eventually leads to the rise of rifampicin resistant population.
