Population Study or Study about Population or its different aspects is very lucrative stream of Education . International Institute for Population Studies under The Health and Family Welfare Ministry of Government of India , is taking admission in different courses of Population Studies for 2021–22 Session.
Courses are – 1. M.A. or M.Sc. in Population Studies – Any Graduate with 55% marks (50% for reserved ) can apply. Eligible candidates will get a Fellowship of Rs. 5000/- per month.
2. Master of Science in Biostatistics and Demography -Degree course passed with Biostatistics or Health Statistics or Mathematics or Statistics with 55% marks ( 50% for reserved ) can apply . Eligible students will get a Fellowship of Rs. 5000/- per month.
3.Master of Population Studies -M.A. or M.SC. passed candidates with 55% marks ( 50% for reserved ) can apply. Subjects of PG can be among – Anthropology, Geography, Economics, Development Studies, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Health Statistics, Population studies, Political Science, Population Education, Psychology, Lower Development, Social work , Sociology, Statistics. Any other Graduate with 2 years experience in the field of Population and Health Service can also apply. Eligible candidates will get a Fellowship of Rs. 5000/- per month.
4.Ph.D in Population Studies/ Biostatistics and Demography – 55% ( 50% for reserved ) in M.A. or M.Sc. in Population Studies or Biostatistics and Demography or M.Phil in Population Studies or Biostatistics or Biostatistics and Demography can apply.
Also this Institution offers part time Ph.D and Post Doctoral Education.
