Revenue Secretary Sanjoy Malhotra has been appointed as the new Governor of RBI (Reserve Bank of India ). He will be the 26th governor of the RBI. He is an IAS from Rajasthan Cadre of 1990’s batch. He is a Computer Science Graduate from IIT, Kanpur and also a Master’s in Public Policy from Princeton University, USA . He has a vast experience of 33 years in various important segments of Government.The tenure of the present governor Shaktikanta Das will end on 10th December, 2024, Wednesday. He will take charge from 11th of December, 2024 , Wednesday for the next three years .
