2. National Institute of Science Education and Research ( NISER ) Bhubaneswar- Seat – 200.
Course – 5 year Integrated M.Sc. in Basic Sciences- Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
Qualification – H.S. or class xii passed with Biology/Chemistry / Mathematics / Physics with 60% in aggregate (55% for SC, ST, Divyangjan categories). Candidates of this year and also of previous two years can also apply. Candidates appearing in this year’s examination can also apply.
Exam. Pattern – It will be Computer Based Test with MCQ type of questions.
There will be 60 marks in every section with negative marking. There will be questions from four sections – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics , Physics .
Merit list will be made from the Best three sections’ marks.
That means merit list will be prepared based on a total of 180 marks.
In every section there will be 20 questions with one correct answer and every question will carry 3 marks.
Answering a correct option will provide 3 marks, answering incorrect answer will provide -1 negative marking and not answering any questions will not carry any marks or any negative marking.

Language – The language of the question papers will be Hindi and English.
Timing and Duration – Exam. time will be of 3hrs. 30minutes , from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. for the first session and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm for the second session. Exam.
Date – Examination generally happened in the month of June.
Application date – From March to May .
Admit card will be available for download from June .
Result will be published in the June or July.
Examination Centres – Examination will be happened in almost 129 centres all over India. Candidates must choose 3 centres of their preferences.
