Mohun Bagan SuperGiant won the ISL crown 2024-25 by defeating Bengaluru FC in the final by 2-1 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata on 12th of April, 2025 and brought the top most title of the country to the City of Joy. They also achieved the League Shield this year and became the second team in the history after Mumbai City FC to achieve both the titles together in the same season. They are now the first team to win the ISL title in the home ground. It is their second ISL title. In the final Bengaluru FC took the lead in the 49th minute due to an own goal by Alberto Rodriguez of Mohun Bagan SG. Mohun Bagan got the equaliser from a penalty kick scored by Jason Cummings in the 79th minute of the match. The match was tied in regulation time. Then Jamie Maclaren scored the winning goal in the 96th minute of the match. Mohun Bagan SG’s coach Jose Molina led the team beautifully throughout the tournament. The Golden Ball award for the best player of the tournament went to Alaaeddine Ajaraie of NorthEast United FC . The Golden Boot award for scoring the most number of goals was also achieved by Alaaeddine Ajaraie of NorthEast United FC .The Golden Glove award for being the best goalkeeper of the tournament went to Vishal Kaith of Mohun Bagan SG. The Emerging Player award went to Brison Fernandes of FC Goa. The Best Grassroot Program award went to Jamshedpur FC . The Best Elite Youth Program award went to Punjab FC .
