Mohun Bagan Super Giant achieved their maiden ISL League Shield in Indian Super League 2023-24 season . They did this after beating Mumbai City FC by 2-1 at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata on 18th April, 2024. Their head coach Antonio Lopez Habas helped them to achieve the goal while they were struggling in the mid season after three straight defeats in the month of December. So despite that they had done exceptional to win the Shield.
