Koneru Humpy – women chess grandmaster – from India – won FIDE Women’s World Rapid Chess Championship 2024 – she defeated Indonesia’s Irena Sukandar – on 29th December, Sunday – in New York , USA – it is her second title – she won the championship in 2019 – for the first time – also won a bronze in 2012 – age of 37 years – she is India’s no. 1 – men’s category – Russia’s Volodar Murzin won the championship – age 18 – proud of Koneru Humpy
