Indian Men’s Hockey team won the Asia Cup Hockey by defeating Korea by 4 – 1 in the final in Rajgir , Bihar on 7th September, 2025, Sunday. Indian team also sealed their spot in the Hockey World Cup which will be held next year in Belgium and Netherlands. Korea was the defending champion and India was the host. Sukhjeet Singh and Dilpreet Singh scored one goal each in the first half for India. In the second half Dilpreet Singh scored another goal and Amit Rohidas scored a goal for India. Before that Indian team defeated China by 7-0 in the Super 4’s match which really gave them a boost. Dilpreet Singh was the Player of the final. Really an outstanding performance by the Indian Men’s Hockey team and they deserved the title. India is the only hockey team in Asia to win medals ( Bronze) in the last two Olympics in Tokyo and Paris.
