ICC Women’s Under 19 T20 World Cup 2025- second edition – hosted in Malaysia – the defending champion India did it again – 16 team participated- Indian women achieved the crown for the second consecutive time – defeated South African women in the final by 9 wickets – in Bayuemas Oval, Pandamaran – South Africa won the toss – batted first and scored 82 runs in their 20 overs – India’s Gongadi Trisha took 3 wickets and conceded just 15 runs in 4 overs – India scored 84 runs in just 11.2 overs – lost just one wicket – Gongadi Trisha scored 44 runs not out in just 33 balls – Gongadi Trisha became Player of the Match – she also achieved Player of the Series Award – she scored most runs (309) in the tournament – Vaishnavi Sharma from the Indian team took most wickets ( 17 ) in the tournament
