Great Achievement of Indian Girls in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad

The European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad – 14th edition held in Pristina, Kosovo – April 7th to 11th – Indian team achieved two Silver medals and two Bronze medals – great achievement – it is an international level competition exclusively for High school students – led by the leader Dr. Mrudul Thatte from TIFR, Mumbai – Deputy leader Aditi Muthkhod, CMI, Chennai – Ananya Ranade ( Observer with contestants ) , CMI, Chennai – medals winner – Sanjana Chacko from Kerala won Silver medal – Shreya Shantanu Mundhada from Mumbai achieved Silver medal – Saee Patil from Pune won Bronze medal – Shreya Gupta Ray from Kolkata achieved Bronze medal



Writing Skills –

1 . Write a newspaper report based on the achievement of Indian girls in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.      10




2. Write a letter to your mathematics’ teacher expressing your interest to attend this type of International Tests.      10




3. Write a notice as the Head of a High School to inform interested students to attend a workshop on the preparation for the Mathematical Olympiad.        10
