Who are Eligible –
For Indian Nationals-
1. Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the JEE ( Main ) Examination , including all categories. ** As per 2022.
There are category wise distribution of top 2,50,000 candidates for Open, Open – PWD, Gen – EWS, Gen – EWS – PWD, OBC- NCL, OBC- NCL- PWD, SC, SC-PWD, ST , ST- PWD.
2. Age limit – As per 2022 Examnation’s information bulletin candidates should have been born on or after 01/10/1997. For SC, ST and PWD – 5 years age relaxation, i.e., they should have been born on or after 01.10.1992.
3. Number of Attempts – A candidates can attempt JEE (Advanced ) maximum two times in two consecutive years.
4. Appearance in Class XII or Equivalent Examination –
A candidate should have appeared for the class XII or equivalent examination for the first time with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
5. Earlier admission at IITs– A candidate should not have been admitted IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program or accepted an IIT seat by reporting online or at a reporting centre in the past.
Candidates whose admission to IIT was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible.
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course inany of the IITs for the first time in 2021 can appear in 2022.
Candidates who were allocated a seat in at IIT through JoSAA 2021 but did not report online or at any reporting centre or withdrew before the last round of seat allotment or had their seat cancelled ( whatever reason ) before the last round of seat allotment for IITs are eligible to appear for JEE ( Advanced ) for 2022.

Examination – 1. There will be two papers in the Examination.
2. Both the papers are compulsory.
3. There will be questions from Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in both the papers.
4. Computer Based Test.
5. Three hours of time for each paper and one hour extra for PWD candidates who will opt for compensatory time .

AAT or Architecture Aptitude Test for B.Arch Program-
This course is available in some IITs – IIT ( BHU ) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee . To admit in B.Arch. or Bachelor of Architecture will need to pass AAT .For details of the Examination candidates can visit the above mentioned website .
