Examination Conducted by – NTA or National Testing Agency.
The Test’s Importance- CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is a national level entrance exam for admission to the management programmes in the country. The test facilitates AICTE affiliated or participating institutions to select suitable graduate students for admission in the management courses in Post Graduate level.
NTA has no role in counselling process. Candidates must apply seperately to the desired CMAT participating institutions with CMAT score and institutions can seperately mentioned cut off score. Candidates then may have to clear the selection process of those institutions. May be appear in GD or Group Discussion and PI or Personal Interview.
Examination – Pattern –
1. Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation – 20 questions – 80 marks.
2. Logical Reasoning – 20 questions – 80 marks.
3. Language Comprehension – 20 questions – 80 – marks.
4. General Awareness – 20 questions – 80 marks.
5. Innovative and Entrepreneurship – 20 questions – 80 marks.
Timing- Three hours.
Syllabus – As per AICTE.
Other points – Medium of Question Paper – English.
Negative marking of 1 mark in every wrong answer.
Eligibility – 1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Final year candidates whose result will publish before the commencement of admission for the academic year, can also apply.
2. They must be a citizen of India.
