Wow – It is used to express surprise –

Wow! What a beautiful place .

Whoa – to express surprise

Whoa! What a tremendous performance.

Hi – to greet someone

Hi! How are you ?

Hello – to greet someone

Hello! Can you recognise me ?

Hey – to call attention

Hey! What are you doing here ?

Hurray – to express joy

Hurray! We have won the match.

Yay – to express joy

Yay! I achieved the target.

Woo- hoo – to express joy

Woo- hoo! We shall go to a tour.

Yipee – to express joy

Yipee! I have done my job.

Nice – to express joy

Nice! We completed the project.

Alas – to express sorrow

Alas! They have lost the mach.

Ouch – to express pain

Ouch! What a pain.

Ew – to express disgust

Ew! So dirty place.

Ugh – to express disgust

Ugh! This is disgusting.

Yuck – to express disgust

Yuck! The incident is so disgusting.

Oh – to express emotions like anger, surprise , disappointment, reaction , joy

Oh my God – to express surprise, excitement, anger, frustration , disbelief

Whoops – to express surprise, mild embarrassment, apology

Bravo – to admire someone

Look out – to warn someone or to make someone conscious

Look out! You may lose your project.

Eek – to express worry , fear , dismay

Eek! So many cockroaches.

Oh no – to express alarm or concern about a problem
Oh no! This water can be harmful.


Hush – to order someone to be silent or quiet
Hush! The old man is sleeping.


Well – it can be used as an interjection to introduce a remark and followed by a comma.
Well , realize the pleasant environment here !


Stop – That can be used as an interjection to cease any type of action.

Stop! Don’t talk on this matter.
