Nikhat Zareen Created history by winning the crown of IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship, 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey. She defeated Jitpong Jutamas of Thailand in the final by 5-0 in the 52 kg flyweight division. She became the only 5th Indian women to win the crown. Last time Mary Kom won the crown in 2018. She won for six times. Others winner of this crown from India were Sarita Devi, Jenny RL and Lekha KC . Nikhat Zareen ,the golden girl is from Nizamabad, Telengana. She was born on 14th June, 1996. Her father , Mohammad Jameel was also played sports and her mother is Parveen Sultana. In 2011 she won Gold medal Women’s Junior and Youth World Boxing Championship in Turkey in flyweight division. In 2014 she won Silver medal in Youth World Boxing Championship in Bulgaria. In 2014 she won Gold medal in Nations Cup International Boxing Tournament in Nivi Sad, Serbia. In 2015 she won Gold medal in Senior Women National Boxing Championship in Assam. In 2019 she won Silver medal in Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament in Bangkok. In 2019 she won Gold medal in Strandja Memorial Boxing Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2022 she won Gold medal also in Strandja Memorial Boxing Tournament in Sofia , Bulgaria . We are proud of her achievement in World Boxing Championship.
