The 69th edition of the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony was held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on Monday 22 September, 2025.  This is the most prestigious award in football presented annually by France Football since 1956, the Ballon d’Or .

The awards were co-organised by UEFA and Groupe Amaury, owner of France Football and L’Équipe.

Other men’s prizes awarded in Paris included the Men’s Kopa Trophy (best young player), Men’s Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), Men’s Johan Cruyff Trophy (best coach in club/national team), Men’s Gerd Müller Trophy (top scorer in club/national team) and the Men’s Club of the Year.

1 . Men’s Ballon d’Or – Ousmane Dembele – Best Men’s footballer  of the season – France, Paris Saint-Germain

2. Women’s Ballon d’Or – Aitana Bonmatí – Best Women’s footballer of the season – Spain, Barcelona

3. Men’s Kopa Trophy for being best young player – Lamine Yamal – Spain, Barcelona

4. Women’s Kopa Trophy for being best young player –  Vicky Lopez – Spain, Barcelona

5. Men’s Yashin Trophy for being best goalkeeper – Gianluigi Donnarumma – Italy, Paris Saint-Germain

6. Women’s Yashin Trophy for being best goalkeeper – Hannah Hampton – England, Chelsea

7. Men’s Gerd Müller Trophy for top scorer for club / National team – Viktor Gyokeres – Sweden, Sporting CP/Arsenal

8. Women’s Gerd Müller Trophy for top scorer for club / National team – Ewa Pajor –  Poland, Barcelona

9. Men’s Johan Cruyff Trophy for best coach – Luis Enrique – Spain, Paris Saint-Germain

10. Women’s Johan Cruyff Trophy for best coach –  Sarina Wiegman –  Netherlands, England national team

11. Men’s Club of the Year Trophy –  Paris Saint-Germain – France

12. Women’s Club of the Year Trophy- Arsenal – England

13. Sócrates Award – Fundación Xana- Spain
