Basanti Mahato from Purulia, West Bengal – achieved Gold medal – in individual women’s recurve event – in Asia Cup Archery – Bangkok, Thailand she beat Fong You Jhu of Chinese Taipei by 6-4 – Basanti was behind by 0-4 – came back strongly to win the Gold – she also achieved Silver medal with Vishnu Chaudhary – in the recurve mixed team event – defeated to China by 0-6 – proud of her
