Bus caught fire in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan – unfortunate accident – 14th October, 20250- around 3:30 PM – near Thaiyat village – it was a private AC bus – going towards Jodhpur from Jaisalmer – short circuit – 57 passengers were travelling –  21 died – 15 seriously injured – the fire rapidly engulfed – driver managed to pull over near a military station – bus conductor Rafiq Khan showed remarkable courage – took risk of own life and helped passengers to escape – local villagers and passerby responded quickly in rescue – personnel from Indian Army , Police and fire fighters joined the operation – Prime Minister declared Rs. 2 lakh to the family of deceased victim – Rs. 50000 to the injured – investigation and administrative action started
