77th Republic Day of India – a tribute to the day on which Constitution of India came into force – 26th January , 1950 – celebrated country wide – on 26th January, 2026 – celebration in Kartavya Path , New Delhi – President of India presided – the theme wa- ‘150 years of Vandematram’ – parade – featured 30 tableaux from various states, Union Territories and Ministries – military displays – new Bhairav Battalion  – a 29 aircraft – participated – chief guests were –  President of the European Council Antonio Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen – on this occasion different awards were announced – including Padma Awards
