The Supreme Court of India is the highest court of India. We are celebrating 75 years of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India. The court was established on 28th January, 1950 by replacing the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Harilal J Kania was the first Chief Justice of India from 1950 to 1951. Present CJI is D Y Chandrachud . Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi unveiled a stamp and coin commemorating 75 years of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India while inaugurating the National Conference District Judiciary in New Delhi . The President of India Droupadi Murmu unveiled the new flag and insignia of the Supreme Court of India to commemorate the 75 years of establishment of the Supreme Court of India.
