HOW TO CRACK INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE
It is a dream for many students to crack Indian civil service through which they can join Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Postal Service ,Indian Information and Broadcast service ,Indian Revenue Service, Indian Railway Service etc. But to be successful the students need to follow a good plan throughout the journey and the conscious guardians need to be helpful also.

1. 2. Starting the journey– To be success in this type of exam student must start the journey as early as possible. They need to prepare their mind for this challenge. with the study in H.S. and College level they must be aware about the current knowledge and some general knowledge. They also need to study there own syllabus carefully. They need to clear their doubts both in social science and science.
3. Proper planning– a proper plan will be very helpful for the students for this exam and they need to plan it in details.They must prepare a routine or schedule for study.
4. Full preparation after 10 + 2– students who are willing to be successful they need to be prepared after their H.S. exam or 10 + 2 exam .Continuing the graduation they have to prepare themselves for Indian civil service simultaneously .For this with the study in graduation level at least 3 to 4 hours per day can be provided for the preparation of ICS. If they can continue it for 3 years then after completing the graduation that will give them a good knowledge to appear in this exam.

They will also need to choose their optional subjects wisely. For this they need to follow the syllabus carefully .They can take the subjects they have studied in graduation level if they think that will be helpfu.l They can also choose other subjects for getting good score but that need a good guidance and planning.
10. Good books –This is always very important to follow good and appropriate books. Research over internet can provide some list of good books, not only that some good informations on specific topics can be achieved from internet .Study materials and books of NCERT and IGNOU are very helpful .For optional papers books of Honours and PG level are appropriate. For Indian Geography and world Geography, Indian History ,Politics and Economy books for graduation level is always helpful, atleast for basic knowledge text books of HS level I also helpful.
11. Time and patience– It is really very important to understand that for preparing for Indian civil service is not shortcut and quick method. The students need to be patience and need to provide enough time for their preparation ,even if they failed for one or two times they need to keep belief on their own self.

Not hard but collective– Students need to understand that success in this exam is not so hard but it need a collective process .Students need to gather many informations on different topics ,they don’t need to be so brilliant but they need to give some time for their preparation .They don’t need to become expert in everything but they need to get some information at least on many subjects and topics.
13. Help from family–It is very important factor because students need to get support from their family also after completing their graduation. The family should give them enough time and inspiration for this achievement.
14. Not wasting the effort– It is important to remember that students will have just 4 chances for the success and their success provide them a very bright future .They will be the topmost officers of different government departments .So every time they sit for the exam they need to be serious and they need to continue their practice until the success.
